Eligibility Criteria
**Educational Qualifications Required:**
To qualify for the Livestock Extension Officer role, candidates must meet the following educational criteria:
- UPSSSC PET Scorecard: A valid scorecard from the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) conducted by the Commission is mandatory. Selection for the main examination will be based on this score.
- Educational Background: Candidates should have completed Class 12 with Biology or Agricultural Science, or possess a diploma in Animal Husbandry and Dairying.
Age and Application Fee
**Age Limit:** Candidates must be aged between 18 and 40 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.
**Application Fee:** The fee for applying is set at a nominal ₹25, which can be paid online.
Main Examination Details
**Examination Pattern:** Those who qualify based on their PET scores will need to take the main examination. This exam will feature 100 objective-type questions and will last for two hours. Each question carries one mark, and there will be a penalty of 25% (one-fourth) of a mark for each incorrect answer.
