The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially announced the recruitment for 7,994 Revenue Lekhpal positions, with applications opening on December 29, 2025. Candidates must have taken the PET 2025 exam to qualify for this recruitment.


Application Timeline

The online application process will commence on December 29, 2025, and will close on January 28, 2026. Candidates will have until February 4, 2026, to make any necessary corrections to their applications. All applications must be submitted through the official UPSSSC website, upsssc.gov.in.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must have completed their Intermediate (12th grade) from the UP Board or any recognized board. All necessary educational documents should be available at the time of application.


Age Requirements

The age range for applicants is set between 18 and 40 years. Relaxations in the upper age limit will be provided for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.


Application Fee

The application fee is uniform across all categories, amounting to Rs. 25 for General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS candidates. Payment can be made via UPI or SBI e-challan.


Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection will involve a written examination comprising 100 objective-type questions, totaling 100 marks. The exam duration will be 2 hours, and negative marking will apply. A normalization formula will be utilized to finalize the merit list.

  • Social Development and Rural Society

  • Current Affairs

  • General Hindi and Computer Knowledge

Special emphasis will be placed on topics pertinent to Uttar Pradesh.


Salary Structure

Selected candidates for the Lekhpal position will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100, along with additional government allowances.
