The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) has unveiled the examination centers for the High School and Intermediate Board Exams scheduled for 2026. A total of 7,448 centers have been allocated for these exams throughout the state, marking a reduction from the previous year. In 2025, the exams were held at 7,448 centers, while in 2024, the number was higher at 8,265.
Objection Filing Opportunity
Deadline for Objections: December 4th
As per the notification from UPMSP, students, parents, teachers, or any concerned individuals can submit objections regarding the examination centers online through the designated portal by December 4th, 2025. Valid complaints will be addressed, and the final list of centers will be published online on December 11th.
Exam Schedule
Board Exams from February 18th to March 12th
The UP Board has announced that the board exams for both 10th and 12th grades will commence on February 18th, 2026. Approximately 5.2 million students are expected to participate, with 2,750,945 registered for high school—1,438,683 boys and 1,312,263 girls. For the 12th grade, 2,479,352 students are registered, including 1,303,012 boys and 1,176,340 girls.

Two Shifts for Board Exams
The UP Board will conduct the exams in two shifts: the first shift from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and the second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Practical Exams Schedule
Practical Exams in January or Early February
The UP Board is anticipated to hold practical assessments for both classes in January or early February. Participation in these practical exams is mandatory; failure to attend will lead to disqualification.
