UP Board Exam Centers for 2026 Announced



The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially published the final list of 7,448 examination centers for the upcoming UP Board exams in 2026. Students and their guardians have the opportunity to submit online objections until December 22, 2025.


Students in Class 10 and 12 can now access the list of their respective exam centers on the UPMSP's official website, upmsp.edu.in. In case of any discrepancies or concerns regarding the assigned centers, students, parents, or school officials can file their objections online.


The board's final list encompasses a total of 7,448 centers throughout the state, where both High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations will take place in 2026. Students are encouraged to verify the list pertinent to their districts via the official portal.


Steps to Verify Exam Centers

According to the notice from UPMSP, the exam center list is organized district-wise, detailing the name and center code for each location. Students can easily locate their designated center based on their district and school affiliation.


Deadline for Objections: December 22

In conjunction with the release of the exam center list, the board has also opened a window for online objections. Should any student or parent identify an error in the center or require a change for any reason, they can submit their objections online by the deadline of December 22, 2025.


All objections submitted will undergo review by the District School Inspector, and the final list will be amended based on the district committee's recommendations. It is important to note that no objections will be entertained after this deadline.


Candidate Registration for the Exam

For the 2026 examinations, a total of 52,30,297 candidates have registered, which includes both High School and Intermediate students. This year, there are 206,877 fewer registrations compared to 2025. Specifically, 27,50,945 students are set to take the High School exams, comprising 14,38,682 boys and 13,12,263 girls.


In the Intermediate category, 24,79,352 candidates have registered, with 13,03,012 boys and 11,76,340 girls. Overall, 27,41,694 boys and 24,88,603 girls will participate in the exams. The UP Board examinations are scheduled to commence on February 18, 2026, and will conclude on March 12, 2026.
