Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has initiated one of its largest recruitment campaigns for 2026, inviting applications for more than 25,000 General Duty (GD) Constable positions across various paramilitary forces. SSC has announced a total of 25,487 vacancies for GD Constable and Rifleman (GD) roles. All positions are categorized under the Level-3 Pay Scale, with a monthly salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100, in addition to allowances as per government regulations.
