Among these, the majority of positions—230—are for Assistant Accountants in the Directorate of Departmental Accounts, while 75 positions will be filled at Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL).
Educational Qualifications Required
Each position has specific educational requirements:
Accountant: B.Com with MBA (Finance)/PGDBA (Finance) or M.Com, along with relevant experience.
Assistant Accountant: B.Com, BBA, or a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy, with computer proficiency and a typing speed of 4,000 key depressions per hour.
Office Assistant-III (Accounts): B.Com, a one-year computer diploma, and typing knowledge in Hindi/English.
Cashier-cum-Assistant Accountant: B.Com or equivalent qualification with accounting knowledge.
Age Criteria
The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 42 years. The minimum age for most positions is 21 years, while for the Assistant Accountant/Junior Auditor role at Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan, it is 18 years. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2026, with relaxations for reserved categories as per regulations.
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive salaries ranging from Level-4 to Level-6, depending on the position:
Accountant: ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 (Level-6)
Assistant Accountant: ₹29,200 to ₹94,300 or ₹29,800 to ₹94,300 (depending on the department)
Office Assistant-III (Accounts): ₹27,200 to ₹86,100 (Level-4)
Cashier-cum-Assistant Accountant: ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 (Level-4)
