Uttar Pradesh Home Guard Recruitment 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is set to fill more than 41,000 Home Guard positions. Height Requirements for UP Home Guard

For General/OBC and Scheduled Caste candidates, the chest measurement must be 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm with expansion. For ST candidates, the chest should measure 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm with expansion. Female candidates should be at least 152 cm tall, with a minimum of 147 cm accepted for ST women.
Physical Efficiency Test Requirements
Post-document verification, candidates will participate in a physical efficiency test that includes running. Male candidates are required to complete a 4.8 km run within 28 minutes, while female candidates must finish a 2.4 km run in 16 minutes. Failure to meet these time limits will result in disqualification from the selection process.
Eligibility Criteria for Home Guard Recruitment
To apply for the Home Guard positions, candidates must have completed at least 10th grade from a recognized board. Those who have taken the exam but have not yet received their results are ineligible. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 to 30 years, calculated as of July 1, 2025, with exemptions for reserved categories.
