Correction Facility for UPTET 2026 Certificates



Candidates who have successfully qualified for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 and have downloaded their certificates but noticed discrepancies in their personal details, such as name, father's or husband's name, date of birth, or category, can breathe easy. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has launched a new facility allowing these candidates to correct their certificates. An official notification has been released regarding this process.


**Eligible Details for Correction**


Candidates are permitted to amend inaccuracies in their personal information as recorded on the UPTET 2026 certificate. The details on the certificate are derived from the information provided in the TET application form.


The Commission allows modifications to details including name, father's or husband's name, date of birth, and category. Candidates must follow the prescribed procedure to apply for these corrections.


**Correction Fee**


A fee of ₹200 has been established for making changes to the UPTET 2026 certificate. This fee must be paid online to receive the revised certificate. The Commission has stated that no additional chances for correction will be provided after the certificate is amended; hence, candidates should carefully verify all information before submitting their application.


**Steps to Make Corrections**


1. Visit the official website: certificates.upessc.org.


2. Log in using your roll number, date of birth, and security code.


3. After logging in, select the 'Request Correction' option.


4. Enter the correct information to replace the incorrect details.


5. Pay the required correction fee online.


6. Submit the correction application after payment.


7. Retain a copy or receipt of the submitted application for future reference.


**UPTET Results Overview**


This year, 7,13,648 candidates participated in the UPTET primary level examination (Classes 1 to 5), with 80.07 percent (5,71,435 candidates) passing. For the upper primary level examination (Classes 6 to 8), 10,57,021 candidates appeared, and 71.85 percent (7,59,513 candidates) were successful.


Among currently employed teachers, 76.29 percent (93,387) of the 1,22,405 teachers who took the primary level exam succeeded. Similarly, at the upper primary level, 77.45 percent (1,13,384) of the 1,46,394 employed teachers who appeared for the exam were successful.
