Objective of the Helpline Initiative

The board's primary goal with this helpline service is to assist students who may be struggling with theory subjects, syllabus understanding, exam regulations, and mental health issues. The board recognizes that anxiety and confusion can adversely affect student performance, and timely guidance can help them face exams with greater confidence.


Bhagwati Singh, the UP Board Secretary, highlighted the importance of these helplines in alleviating student concerns and ensuring a more seamless examination process. He has directed regional additional secretaries and district education officers to actively promote these services to maximize student engagement.

Upcoming Practical Exam Helpline

In addition to support for theory exams, the UP Board plans to introduce a dedicated helpline for Intermediate practical examinations soon. The Class 12 practical exams for 2026 are set to take place from January 24 to February 1, 2026.


This helpline will specifically address queries related to Science practical subjects, including:

Dr. Dinesh Kumar, the Divisional Science Progress Officer, mentioned that the practical exam helpline will be established at the Joint Education Director’s divisional office for a designated day, with subject experts available to assist students with experiments, evaluation criteria, and exam-related inquiries.
