SSC CHSL 2025: Self-Slot Selection Process Begins Today
SSC CHSL 2025 Tier-I Self-Slot Selection Process
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially launched the self-slot selection process for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSLE) 2025 Tier-I, effective from today, October 22. Candidates who are set to take the exam can now access the SSC portal to choose their preferred exam city, date, and shift, subject to availability. The CHSL Tier 1 examination is scheduled to take place at various locations nationwide starting November 12.
As per the notification released by the Commission, candidates have until October 28 to finalize their exam city, date, and shift. After this date, no modifications will be permitted. This initiative aims to enhance flexibility and convenience for candidates in organizing their exam schedules.
In a notice dated October 18, the SSC highlighted that this new feature allows candidates to select their preferred exam city, date, and shift based on availability, thereby making the examination process more accommodating. The slot selection portal will remain open from October 22 to October 28.
Steps to Select Your Slot for SSC CHSL 2025
1. Visit the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.
2. Log in using your registration number and password.
3. You will then be prompted to select your exam city, date, and shift.
4. Candidates will see three cities, which were selected during the application process.
5. Based on availability, the portal will show the available slots (date and shift) for these cities.
6. Choose your preferred exam city, date, and shift from the options provided.
The Commission has also indicated that the number of available slots may be limited for candidates opting for regional language exams. If all slots are filled in the initially selected three cities, the portal will present a list of alternative cities with available slots. Candidates can select from these options.
Once a candidate has made their selection, no further changes will be allowed. It is crucial for candidates to verify their chosen date, shift, and city before finalizing their submission. If a candidate fails to make a selection by the deadline, the SSC will interpret this as a decision not to participate in the exam.
