The State Bank of India (SBI) is preparing to announce the results for the Preliminary Exam 2025 related to the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO). Candidates who took the exam on August 4 and 5, 2025, can access their results on the official SBI website sbi.co.in once they are released.
Steps to Check SBI PO Prelims Result 2025
To check the results, candidates will need their roll number along with either their password or date of birth. Here’s how to do it:

- Go to the Career section and select Current Openings.
- Click on Probationary Officer Recruitment 2025.
- Input your registration number/roll number and password/DOB to log in.
- Locate your roll number in the result PDF and download it for future reference.
Overview of the Exam
The SBI PO Prelims exam consists of a 100-mark test divided into three sections:
- English Language
- Numerical Ability
- Reasoning Ability
Additionally, the exam implements a negative marking system, where 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer. This year, more than 600,000 candidates participated in the exam.
Selection Process Details
The recruitment process for SBI PO includes three stages:
- Prelims – This is a qualifying round to shortlist candidates for the mains.
