RBSE Announces Changes in Exam Schedule
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has revealed a modification in the examination schedule for two subjects in Class 12, ahead of the upcoming board exams set to commence on February 12, 2026. This adjustment comes in response to the increased number of students registered at specific examination centers.
Reason for the Change
RBSE officials indicated that the alteration aims to facilitate a smoother examination process and prevent overcrowding at the centers. Students are encouraged to take note of the updated timings and adjust their plans accordingly.
Subjects Affected by the Timing Change
The revised schedule impacts the following subjects:
- Computer Science / Informatics Practices
- Fine Arts (Painting)
Previously, both subjects were slated for the morning shift, but they will now be conducted in the afternoon shift.
New Exam Timings
According to RBSE Secretary Gajendra Singh, on February 17 and February 24, several centers were projected to exceed their seating capacity. Consequently, the board opted to adjust the exam timings to ensure order and fairness.

- Previous Time: 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM (February 17)
- Revised Time: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM (February 17)
- Class 12 Fine Arts (Painting)
- Previous Time: 8:30 AM to 11:25 AM (February 24)
- Revised Time: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM (February 24)
No other subject timings have been altered.
