The UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research in Indore has announced the opening of nominations for the prestigious 'Professor R. Srinivasan Award.' This award honors exceptional contributions in the domain of 'Low-Temperature Physics.' A notification has been released by the UGC regarding this initiative.

Award recipients will receive a citation along with a cash prize of ₹20,000. This annual recognition is aimed at celebrating significant advancements in experimental low-temperature physics achieved through research conducted in India.

**How to Apply and Eligibility Criteria**

Interested candidates can submit their nominations via email. Nominations should be sent to rsaward@csr.res.in with the subject line stating "Nomination for RS award." Applicants are required to include a list of their ten most impactful publications and provide the names of five referees. There is no age restriction for nominations, and the last date for submission is October 6, 2026.

**Selection Procedure**

An expert committee appointed by the institute's Director will be responsible for selecting the awardees. The chosen recipient will have the opportunity to present their accomplishments. This award was established by the students, colleagues, and friends of Professor Srinivasan at the UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research in Indore.
