JEE Main 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially issued the admit cards for candidates participating in the JEE Main 2026 Session 1. Students scheduled to take their exams on January 28 and 29, 2026, can now access and download their admit cards from the official website. This examination is crucial for admissions into engineering and architecture programs, attracting millions of students from both India and abroad.
Exam Centers Across India and Abroad
As per the NTA's announcement, the JEE Main Session-1 will be conducted at numerous examination centers throughout various cities in India. Additionally, the exam will also take place in 15 international cities. Candidates have been notified of their respective exam dates and locations, allowing them to plan their travel and other necessary arrangements ahead of time.
BE-B.Tech Exam Scheduled for January 28
For those taking the exam on January 28, 2026, Paper-1, which covers BE and B.Tech, will be administered in two shifts. The first shift is set from 9 AM to 12 PM, while the second will run from 3 PM to 6 PM, all according to Indian Standard Time.
B.Arch and B.Planning Exam on January 29
Candidates who will be appearing for the exam on January 29, 2026, will take Paper-2A (B.Arch) and Paper-2B (B.Planning). This examination will occur only in the first shift, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.
Steps to Download JEE Main 2026 Admit Card
To download the admit card, candidates should follow these steps:
1. Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the link for JEE Main 2026 Session-1 Admit Card on the homepage.
3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
4. After logging in, the admit card will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download the admit card and print it clearly.
