Eligibility Criteria for Coast Guard Recruitment
Each position has specific eligibility requirements:

Navik (General Duty): Candidates should have completed 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics.

Navik (Domestic Branch): Candidates must have passed the 10th grade from a recognized board.
Yantrik: Candidates should have completed 10th grade and possess a diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
Hygienist-I: Candidates who have completed the 10th grade or hold an equivalent ITI qualification are eligible for this role.

Age Limit
The age limit for applicants is between 18 to 22 years. However, specific conditions regarding the date of birth will apply based on the position. Candidates from reserved categories will receive upper age limit relaxation as per regulations.

Selection Procedure
The selection process will consist of four stages: a computer-based test, a physical efficiency test, an assessment/adaptability test, and initial document verification. This will be followed by final document verification and a medical examination at INS Chilka, Odisha.
