Qualification



  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 12th Class pass from a recognised Board with Typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.


  • Hindi Typist – 12th Class pass from a recognised Board with Typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.


  • Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver – Ordinary Grade (CMTD) – Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognised Board/University. Valid Civil Driving Licence for light and heavy vehicles. Knowledge of motor mechanism. Minimum 2 years’ experience in driving motor vehicles.

  1. Download the Application Form as per prescribed Proforma (Annexure-I) from the official notification / IAF website.


  2. Fill the form in English or Hindi. Affix a recent passport-size self-attested photograph on the application form.


  3. Attach two additional passport-size photographs (same as affixed on form).


  4. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents: educational qualification, age proof, caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), PwBD certificate (if applicable), experience certificate.


  5. EWS candidates must attach a valid Income & Asset Certificate for FY 2026-27 (issued on income basis of FY 2025-26).


  6. Attach a self-addressed envelope with Rs. 10/- stamps. Address should be typed in English/Hindi.


  7. Write clearly on the envelope: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _______ AND CATEGORY _______”


  8. Send the complete application by post to the concerned Air Force Station/Unit’s address within 30 days from 02-05-2026. Separate application required for each post.
