IAF Agniveer Vayu (Sports) 2026 Recruitment Details
IAF Agniveer Vayu (Sports) 2026: The Indian Air Force has announced the official recruitment notification for the Agniveer Vayu (Sports) for the 2026 batch under the Agnipath Scheme. Unmarried male candidates from India are invited to submit their online applications. Interested individuals can apply by visiting the website agnipathvayu.cdac from March 23 to March 29, 2026. The recruitment tests will take place at the Air Force Station in New Delhi from April 8 to April 10, 2026.
Educational Qualifications Required:
Candidates must have completed their Intermediate (10+2) with Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized board, achieving at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
Alternatively, candidates can qualify with a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/IT) with a minimum of 50% marks and 50% in English (either in the Diploma or in Matriculation/Intermediate).
Another option is to have completed a 2-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics, securing at least 50% marks and 50% in English.
For candidates from other streams: Completion of Intermediate (10+2) in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English is required. Alternatively, a 2-year Vocational Course with at least 50% marks and 50% in English is acceptable.
Application Fee:
All applicants must pay an application fee of ₹100 (plus applicable taxes). This fee can be paid online using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking.
Mandatory Sports Achievements Criteria:
Candidates must have represented India in an international competition, or secured at least the 5th position in a Junior National competition. They may also have played for their State or Union Territory team in a Senior National Championship, or participated in an All India Inter-University Championship or the Khelo India National (SAI) Games.
For team sports, candidates should have represented their State/Union Territory in a National Championship or an Inter-University Championship.
