Eligibility Criteria:


Nationality:


Applicants must be citizens of India, Nepal, or Bhutan. Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, and individuals of Indian origin migrating from specified countries intending to settle in India are also eligible, provided they have an eligibility certificate from the Government of India.


Educational Qualifications:


For Level-2 Positions:


Candidates should have completed the 12th grade or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks. This requirement is waived for SC, ST, and Ex-servicemen candidates. Those who have completed their matriculation along with an NCVT or SCVT-recognized ITI course or a Course Completed Act Apprenticeship are also eligible.


For Level-1 Positions:


Candidates must have passed the 10th grade. Additionally, those with an ITI qualification or a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from the NCVT are also eligible.


Typing Requirement:


Candidates selected for the Clerk-cum-Typist position must achieve a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi within two years of their appointment.


Scouts & Guides Qualifications:


This qualification is essential for both Level-1 and Level-2 positions. Candidates must hold the President’s Scout, Guide, Rover, Ranger, or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB). They should have been active members of a recognized Scouts organization for the last five years (since 2021-22) and participated in at least two events at the National or All India Railway level, as well as two events at the State level.

Salary Information:


Selected candidates will receive the minimum basic pay corresponding to their pay level, along with other allowances as per Railway regulations. A stipend will be provided during the training period, and certain posts may have conditions regarding a security deposit and bond.

No Interview Required:


There will be no interview for this recruitment. However, candidates must achieve a minimum of 40% marks in the written examination. Final selection will occur only after passing the medical fitness test conducted by the railway administration.
