CBSE Class 12 Answer Sheet Verification and Re-evaluation Process Initiated
CBSE Notification for Class 12 Students
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a crucial notification aimed at Class 12 students who have received scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets. An online application process has been launched for students to verify any potential errors in their answer sheets and to request re-evaluation of their answers. Students are required to submit their applications through the designated portal before the deadline. This entire procedure will be conducted online, and it is essential for students to log in using their Aadhaar number. The Board has emphasized the importance of carefully checking all details while completing the application form and ensuring timely payment of the required fees.
Aadhaar Login Mandatory
To initiate the application, students must access the official CBSE website. During the login process, entering the Aadhaar number is compulsory. After logging in, students can choose either the 'Verification' or 'Re-evaluation' option based on their needs.
Application Deadline
The application window opened on June 2, 2026, and will close at midnight on June 6, 2026. No applications will be accepted after this deadline, whether submitted online or offline. Therefore, students should be vigilant about the final submission date.
Fee Structure for Verification and Re-evaluation
A fee of ₹100 is required for the verification of each answer sheet. For re-evaluation of a specific question, a fee of ₹25 applies. Payments must be made through online methods such as UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and net banking.
Reasons for Verification Requests
Students can request verification for issues like missing pages in the scanned copy, absence of supplementary answer sheets, unclear maps or graphs, blurred pages, or if it seems that the evaluation was based on an incorrect answer sheet. Multiple subjects and issues can be included in a single application.
Important Points for Re-evaluation
When applying for re-evaluation, students must provide specific details, including relevant question numbers and page numbers. All requests related to specific subjects and questions should be submitted before the final submission. Once the 'Freeze and Proceed to Payment' option is selected, no further modifications can be made.
Application Status Tracking
CBSE has stated that only one application for verification and one for re-evaluation will be accepted per student. After successfully submitting the application and payment, students can view and download the status of their requests through the portal. The verification results will be made available to students once the process is completed.
