The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is currently under scrutiny due to inconsistencies identified in the scanned copies of Class 12 answer sheets. In response, the CBSE has introduced a 24/7 helpline named 'Post-Result Support for Students' aimed at assisting students with queries related to their results, evaluation processes, and stress management.

Statements from Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan
During a recent meeting with officials, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan revealed that around 1.7 million students participated in the CBSE Class 12 Board examinations this year, resulting in the generation of 9.8 million answer sheets, which equates to nearly 400 million pages. This year marked the first use of the Online Marking System (OSM) for evaluation. He acknowledged the presence of certain flaws within this new system but reassured students that all issues would be addressed and no grievances would be ignored.
Student Complaints and Issues
Numerous students have raised complaints regarding the CBSE Class 12 examinations. Some have reported receiving incorrect photocopies of their answer sheets, while others claim they were awarded incorrect marks. Many students have taken to social media to express their frustration, stating discrepancies between their final scores and the scores reflected in the photocopies of their answer sheets. Additionally, some students assert that they provided correct answers but did not receive any marks for them.
