The Bank of Maharashtra has announced job openings for various positions, including Officer Scale-2, offering attractive salaries. Here are the essential details regarding the recruitment process.

The recruitment for Officer Scale 2 (Generalist Officer) has commenced, with a total of 84 vacancies available. Interested candidates can apply online through the official bank website at bankofmaharashtra.in. The deadline for applications is September 30.

Candidates applying for the Officer Scale 2 position must possess a graduation degree, BE, BTech, MSc, or MCA from a recognized institution. The age criteria stipulate a minimum age of 25 years and a maximum of 50 years, with age relaxation for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.

Selected candidates will receive a competitive salary, with the basic pay for Scale II ranging from ₹64,820 to ₹93,960 per month. Additionally, other scales offer higher salaries: Scale III ranges from ₹85,920 to ₹1,05,280, Scale IV from ₹1,02,300 to ₹1,20,940, Scale V from ₹1,20,940 to ₹1,35,020, and Scale VI from ₹1,40,500 to ₹1,56,500 per month. The in-hand salary will increase with additional allowances.

The selection process consists of two stages: a written examination to assess candidates' knowledge and skills, followed by an interview round. Final selections will be based on performance in both stages.

Applicants must pay an application fee, which is ₹1,180 for general, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC and ST candidates are required to pay only ₹118.
