Procedure for Raising Objections
The NTA has also provided a window for students to raise objections regarding the answer key. If any student believes that an answer is incorrect, they can submit an objection. The objection period is from February 4th to February 6th, with a fee of Rs. 200 applicable for each question contested. This entire process is conducted online.

Exam Schedule
The JEE Main 2026 Session-1 examination took place from January 21 to January 29, 2026. This computer-based test was conducted in two shifts: the morning session from 9 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon session from 3 PM to 6 PM. Students participated in this exam for admission into B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning programs.
Result Announcement Date
The NTA has confirmed that the results for JEE Main 2026 Session-1 will be announced on February 12, 2026. Alongside the results, students will receive their scores, percentiles, and All India Ranks. Those who qualify will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced, followed by the counseling process.
