The UPSC Civil Services Examination is renowned for its challenging nature, attracting a wave of enthusiasm among countless young candidates this year. The response to the new centers has been encouraging. Bhubaneswar received the highest number of applications, totaling 10,656, which has eased the load on the Cuttack center. Kanpur attracted 6,938 applicants, helping to alleviate congestion at the Lucknow center, while Meerut was selected by 5,902 candidates, particularly benefiting students from Western Uttar Pradesh who previously relied on Ghaziabad.

The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination is set to take place this Sunday. Each year, a vast number of students participate, but only a few achieve success. This examination is crucial for selecting officers for esteemed services such as IAS, IPS, and IFS. This year, the UPSC has received a staggering 819,372 applications, highlighting the Civil Services' appeal among the youth.

The Commission has made efforts to assign centers that cater to their needs, creating additional seats where necessary.
