UP PCS 2025 Main Exam Results and Interview Process
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has initiated the next phase of the recruitment process following the announcement of the UP PCS 2025 Main Examination results. Interviews are set to begin on September 28, 2026, and will run until October 24, 2026.
The complete interview schedule has been made available for candidates who passed the PCS 2025 Main Examination. This recruitment drive will cover 28 different posts as part of the PCS 2025 examination.
Interview Schedule and Shifts
As per the Commission's announcement, interviews will occur in two daily shifts. The first shift starts at 9:30 AM, requiring candidates to arrive by 8:00 AM. The second shift will commence at 2:00 PM, with a reporting time of 12:30 PM. Candidates will be assigned specific dates and sessions based on their roll numbers.
Location of Interviews
The interviews for PCS 2025 will take place at 'Saraswati Bhawan' located within the UPPSC premises in Prayagraj. Candidates can verify their interview dates and reporting times according to their roll numbers in the schedule provided by the Commission.
Interview Letter Download Information
Candidates who have successfully qualified can download their interview letters and guidelines starting September 22, 2026. They will need to log in using their OTR (One Time Registration) number and password to access their applicant dashboard and complete the necessary examination details. The Commission has advised candidates to download all required forms and documents online and keep printed copies ready. Additionally, candidates must submit their post preferences online based on their qualifications and the available positions, and bring a printed copy of this preference list to the interview.
Required Documents for the Interview
Candidates must present original copies of their educational marksheets, degrees, and relevant certificates on the interview day. They should also carry self-attested photocopies of these documents. Those from reserved categories need to provide the appropriate category certificate in the specified format. EWS candidates must have a valid EWS certificate, and government employees should bring an original No Objection Certificate (NOC). Furthermore, candidates are required to bring two self-attested photographs and three standard photographs, totaling five. Not presenting the necessary documents may prevent candidates from participating in the interview.
Participation in the Main Examination
The PCS 2025 Main Examination took place from March 29 to April 1, 2026, in Prayagraj and Lucknow, with 10,284 candidates participating. On September 17, the Commission revealed that 2,297 candidates qualified for the interview. Initially, 200 vacancies were announced, which later increased to 920 posts, including 814 PCS positions and 106 ACF-RFO roles. The final selection for the 812 PCS posts will proceed after the interviews, while two of the 814 PCS posts will be filled based solely on the Main written examination, with no separate interview required.
