The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially opened applications for the Combined Hindi Translator Examination-2026. This is a significant opportunity for those looking to become a Translator through the SSC. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official SSC website. The last date for application submission is May 14, 2026. Additionally, candidates will have a chance to make corrections to their application forms from May 19 to May 20.


**Age Criteria**


Applicants must be between 18 to 30 years old as of August 1, 2026. Age relaxation is available for candidates from reserved categories: SC and ST candidates receive a five-year extension, OBC candidates get three years, and candidates with disabilities are allowed an additional ten years.


**Application Fee**


To apply for these positions, candidates must pay an application fee. Those in the unreserved category need to pay ₹100. However, female candidates and those from SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities categories are exempt from this fee.


**Exam Structure**


The examination will consist of questions worth 100 marks each in Hindi and English, with a total duration of two hours.
