These appointments will be distributed among various battalions, including those in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Shivamogga, Hassan, and Tumakuru.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be Indian citizens and should be physically and mentally fit for police duties. A local candidate certificate is necessary for positions in the Kalyana Karnataka region. Additionally, candidates must adhere to the marital status regulations as per government guidelines.
Educational Qualifications:
To be eligible, candidates should have completed the 2nd PUC or an equivalent examination. Acceptable qualifications include:
Class 12 from CBSE or ICSE
Class 12 from other state boards
Senior Secondary Certificate from NIOS
One-year vocational or ITI course post-SSLC, along with PUC subjects through NIOS
Three-year diploma after SSLC from a recognized institution
Candidates must have the required qualifications by the application deadline and should have studied Kannada up to Class 12. Those who do not qualify for an exemption must pass a separate Kannada language proficiency test.

Age will be calculated as of August 10, 2026.
