JPSC CSE 2026 Exam Date: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has officially revealed the date for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026. For a comprehensive schedule, candidates should visit the official site. Admit cards will be available for download starting in April. The examination is set to take place on April 19, 2026, across various districts in Jharkhand, conducted in two shifts.

The JPSC CSE 2026 Preliminary Examination is scheduled for April 19, 2026, in two shifts. The first shift for General Studies (Paper I) will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the second shift for General Studies (Paper II) from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must arrive on time as biometric and iris verification will be conducted.


Admit Card Information

Candidates can download their admit cards starting April 8, 2026. To access the admit card, they will need their registration number, email or phone number, Candidate ID, and password. For any assistance, candidates can reach out to the JPSC helpline at 8929883832, available on working days from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM until April 18.


Examination Guidelines

Essential Documents: Candidates must bring their admit card, attendance sheet, the photograph submitted during application, four self-attested color photographs, and a valid photo ID.


Arrival Time: Candidates should arrive at the examination center by 08:00 AM for the first shift and by 01:00 PM for the second shift.


Verification and OMR Sheet Instructions

Verification Process: Biometric and IRIS verification is compulsory at the examination center.


OMR Sheet Instructions: Candidates should carefully follow the instructions on the admit card and OMR sheet, using only blue or black ballpoint pens. Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, electronic devices, bags, books, loose papers, valuables, food items, or weapons are strictly forbidden in the examination center. Candidates needing a scribe must visit the examination center at least three days before the exam to submit a written request along with a medical certificate for special arrangements.
