Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should be aware that BPSC has outlined specific eligibility requirements for each position. It is crucial to review these criteria before filling out the application form. For the 72nd Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination, candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.


For the Child Development Project Officer role, a Bachelor's degree is necessary, and candidates must choose one optional subject for the Main Examination from the following: (1) Home Science, (2) Psychology, (3) Sociology, or (4) Labour and Social Welfare.


For the Financial Administrative Officer and equivalent positions, a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics from a recognized institution is required.


The Sub-Divisional Protection Officer role mandates a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Law, with candidates needing to select one of these subjects for the Main Examination.


Age Limit

The age requirements vary by post, with minimum ages set at 20, 21, or 22 years, and maximum ages at 37, 40, or 42 years, depending on the category. Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.
