The BPSC has officially announced the 72nd Combined Competitive Examination, aimed at filling a total of 1,230 positions. Notably, the majority of these vacancies are for roles within the Revenue Service, making this an exceptional opportunity for those interested in this field. Specifically, there are 365 openings for Revenue Officers, with 123 of these positions reserved for female candidates.


Details of Other Vacancies

In addition to the Revenue Officer roles, the BPSC has also declared 130 vacancies for Cooperative Extension Officers, including 47 reserved for women. There are 65 positions available for Rural Development Officers, with 22 reserved for female applicants. For the Block Panchayat Raj Officer role, 70 vacancies have been announced, with 22 set aside for women. Furthermore, 65 positions for Municipal Executive Officers are available, including 18 reserved for women. Selected candidates for these five roles will receive a salary according to Pay Level 7.

Under the Bihar Administrative Service, there are 100 vacancies for the position of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), also known as Senior Deputy Collector, with 34 reserved for women. The Police Department has announced 22 vacancies for Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), with six reserved for women. Additionally, there are 76 openings for Assistant Commissioner of State Taxes, with 23 reserved for female candidates. Those selected for these roles will be compensated according to Pay Level 9.
