Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2026: Major Announcement

A significant update has emerged for aspiring candidates in Rajasthan aiming for government positions. The Rajasthan Police is preparing to recruit more than 9,000 constables. A proposal regarding this recruitment has been forwarded to the State Government by the Rajasthan Police Headquarters. Following the approval of this proposal, the official notification for the constable recruitment is expected to be released soon.

Eligibility Criteria for Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment

The Rajasthan Police Headquarters has proposed the recruitment of over 9,000 constables, with the official announcement anticipated post-government approval. This recruitment drive is likely to occur in 2026. Candidates who have completed their 12th grade (intermediate) are eligible to apply. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 25 years, with age relaxation available for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.

Selection Process and Physical Test Details

The selection process for the Rajasthan Police Constable recruitment will commence with a physical assessment, followed by a written examination and document verification. A merit list will be generated based on these evaluations. During the initial physical screening, candidates' height and chest measurements will be recorded. Those who pass this preliminary stage will be invited to participate in the main physical efficiency test.

In the physical efficiency test, candidates must complete a 5-kilometer run. Successful candidates will then be eligible for the written examination. The syllabus for the written test will include topics such as General Knowledge (GK), Mathematics, Reasoning, and Rajasthan-specific General Knowledge. A merit list will be compiled for candidates who pass the written examination, and those on the list will proceed to document verification and a medical examination. Ultimately, the final merit list of selected candidates will be published, with successful candidates earning an initial monthly salary ranging from ₹27,000 to ₹30,000.
