The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially unveiled the interview timetable for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), providing clarity for numerous candidates eager for the final recruitment stage. The notification states that the initial phase of interviews is set to take place from January 21, 2026, to February 28, 2026.
Eligibility and Schedule Details
Candidates who have successfully passed the main examination are eligible to participate in the interview round. Candidates Shortlisted for Interviews
Previously, BPSC announced the results of the 70th CCE main examination, where 5,401 candidates were successful and shortlisted for the interview phase. The main examination occurred between April 25 and April 30, 2025, across 32 examination centers. A total of 20,034 candidates participated in the mains exam, indicating a highly competitive environment.
Interview Sessions
According to the commission's notification, interviews will be held in two sessions each day during the first phase.
- Morning session: Starting at 10:30 AM
- Afternoon session: Starting at 2:30 PM
Candidates are advised to verify their roll numbers in the official schedule to confirm their assigned date and session. The commission will announce the dates for the second phase of interviews separately at a later time.
Admit Card Information
BPSC has confirmed that the interview admit cards will be accessible on the official website one week prior to the interviews. Candidates must download their admit cards using their roll numbers.
It is crucial to note that no admit cards will be mailed. Entry to the interview venue will strictly require the printed admit card and valid identification.
Instructions for Candidates
Candidates should arrive at the commission's office at least one hour before their scheduled interview time. Arriving late may result in disqualification from the interview process.
The commission has also indicated that the medical examination for candidates will occur on the same day as the interview at a designated location. Candidates should be prepared both mentally and physically for this process.
Prohibited Items at the Interview Venue
To ensure security and fairness, candidates are prohibited from bringing the following items:
- Mobile phones
- Bluetooth or Wi-Fi devices
- Smart or digital watches
- Electronic pens, pagers, or similar gadgets
Additionally, relatives or accompanying individuals will not be allowed inside the commission’s premises during the interview.
