Important news for those who have applied for the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment (Bihar Police SI Bharti 2025). The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has announced that the examination for this recruitment will take place on January 18 and 21, 2026. Candidates can now download their admit cards (Bihar Police SI admit card) starting today, December 30. The link for the hall ticket is available on the official BPSSC website, bpssc.bihar.gov.in, where applicants can access it by entering their login credentials.
Exam Schedule and Shift Details
The BPSSC SI recruitment examination is scheduled for January 18 and 21, 2026. On both dates, the exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will run from 10 AM to 12 PM, while the second shift will take place from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates taking the first shift should arrive at the examination center by 8:30 AM, and those in the second shift must report by 1 PM.
Exam Format
The preliminary examination for Bihar SI will feature 100 multiple-choice questions, totaling 200 marks. Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the exam, which will cover general knowledge and current affairs. Each correct answer will earn 20 marks, whereas 0.2 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Based on the scores from the preliminary exam, 20 times the number of available positions will be invited to take the main examination.
