BPSSC Bihar Police SI Mains Result: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has officially announced the results for the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Main Examination 2026. Candidates who participated in the examination can now view their results on the official website of the Commission. The results are presented in a merit list format, showcasing the roll numbers of those who have succeeded.
The Main Examination aimed at recruiting 1,015 Police Sub-Inspectors for the Bihar Government's Home Department took place on May 27, 2026.
Out of the 35,857 candidates who qualified the preliminary examination, 10,759 have been selected to advance to the next phase—the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates can verify their selection status by checking their roll numbers in the merit list.
**Participation in PET and Document Verification is Mandatory**
Candidates who have passed the Main written examination must attend the next phase, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The guidelines for the PET will align with recruitment advertisement number 05/2025. A separate notification regarding the PET schedule and admit cards will be released shortly.
The Commission has emphasized that all selected candidates must appear on the designated date for the PET. Those who qualify in the PET will also need to undergo document verification. Failure to attend on the scheduled date will result in disqualification, and no requests for rescheduling will be accepted.
**Documents Required for PET**
1. Admit card and a copy of the online application acknowledgment.
2. Valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or Driving License.
3. Original Matriculation (10th standard) certificate for date of birth verification.
4. Academic certificate confirming graduation or equivalent qualification.
5. Caste certificate for candidates from reserved categories, along with a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate if applicable. Permanent residence certificate in Bihar and other reservation-related documents (if applicable).
6. Ex-servicemen, candidates from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), government employees, and transgender candidates must present their respective certificates.
Important Guidance from the Commission
The Commission has urged candidates to follow all rules and instructions throughout the recruitment process. Non-compliance or failure to appear on the scheduled date may lead to exclusion from the recruitment process. Candidates are also advised to be cautious of fraudsters promising jobs through deceitful means. Any suspicious activities or individuals should be reported to the police immediately.
