UPPSC Announces Results for LT Grade Teacher Exam
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has made a significant announcement regarding the recruitment examination for LT Grade teachers. The results for the preliminary exams in Mathematics and Hindi have been released. A considerable number of candidates participated in this examination, and those who succeeded will now have the opportunity to take the main examination. Candidates can view their results on the official UPPSC website, and further details about the next steps will be provided shortly.
On Thursday, the UPPSC disclosed the results for the preliminary examination for the LT Grade (Assistant Teacher/Trained Graduate) positions in government secondary schools. This examination took place on December 6.
Mathematics Subject Results
The preliminary examination for Mathematics was conducted in the first session. There are 556 vacancies for male candidates and 537 for female candidates, along with 14 positions for Special Teachers under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
Out of 1,86,989 candidates who registered for the Mathematics exam, 99,055 appeared, and 2,260 candidates have been deemed successful for the main examination.
Hindi Subject Results
The Hindi preliminary examination occurred in the second session, with 568 posts for male candidates and 119 for female candidates, including 3 positions for Special Teachers under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
For the Hindi subject, 1,29,511 candidates registered, with 82,007 appearing for the exam. From this group, 8,162 candidates have qualified for the main examination.
What’s next? The commission has indicated that the schedule for the main examination and details regarding online applications will be announced separately. Due to some candidates not meeting the minimum qualifying marks, 15 times the number of candidates were not available. The final cutoff will be published after the final results.
