IIT Bombay Opens Applications for UCEED 2026


Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) has announced the commencement of online applications for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design 2026 (UCEED 2026). Interested candidates can submit their applications at uceed.iitb.ac.in until October 31, 2025, without incurring a late fee. The deadline for applications with a late fee of Rs 500 is November 7, 2025.


The UCEED 2026 examination is scheduled for January 18, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This exam is crucial for admissions into the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programs at various IITs including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur.


The provisional answer key will be available on January 20, 2026, with a window for submitting feedback until January 22, 2026. The final answer keys will be published on January 28, and the results will be declared on March 6, 2026.
