CUET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided a crucial update for students taking the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate courses. Revised admit cards have been issued for candidates whose exam dates were recently altered. Affected students can now access the official CUET website to download their updated hall tickets.

Exam Date Changes

On May 24, 2026, the NTA announced the postponement of the exam originally set for May 28, 2026, affecting both shifts. This change was necessary due to the rescheduling of Eid al-Adha (Bakrid).

The examination will now take place in two phases: the first phase is on May 31, 2026, with admit cards already available. The second phase is scheduled for June 6 and June 7, 2026, and the NTA will soon upload the admit cards for these dates.

The CUET UG 2026 examination began on May 11, 2026, and will run until the first week of June. It is being held in various cities across India and at select centers abroad.

Candidate Registration Details

This year, around 15.68 lakh students have registered for the exam, with candidates allowed to choose up to five subjects. Consequently, approximately 67.5 lakh test sessions are being organized to accommodate around 12,906 unique subject combinations.

4. Download the admit card and ensure to keep a printed copy for future reference.
