AFCAT 01/2026 Notification 2025: If you aspire to serve in the Indian Air Force, the AFCAT presents a golden opportunity. The online registration for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 2026) has commenced. Interested candidates can submit their applications from November 17 until December 14, 2025. The application form can be accessed on the official website.
This recruitment drive is open for both AFCAT entry and NCC special entry, allowing previous NCC members to apply as well. A total of 340 vacancies are available for both male and female candidates across technical and non-technical branches.

Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT:
Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the Flying Branch must have completed their 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics, achieving at least 50% marks, along with a three-year degree/B.E./B.Tech. with a minimum of 60% marks.
For the Ground Duty (Technical) Branch, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree/B.E./B.Tech./B.Com./CA/B.Sc. in relevant fields such as Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) or Mechanical Engineering.
Age Requirements: Candidates for the AFCAT Flying Branch and NCC Special Entry must be aged between 20 and 24 years, meaning they should be born between January 2, 2003, and January 1, 2007. For Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical), the age limit is 20 to 26 years, with birth dates falling between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2007.
The selection process includes a written examination, AFSB interview, medical examination, and the final merit list. Candidates can also enhance their preparation for the written exam through AI resources. NBT Upskill is currently offering an AI Career Growth Workshop for interested participants.
Application Process:
To apply for AFCAT, visit the official website. Enter your name (as per your 10th-grade marksheet), mobile number, and email ID, and verify via OTP. Log in using your user ID, password, and captcha code. Choose your exam category and fill in personal details such as name, email ID, nationality, mobile number, and proof of identity like Aadhaar card, along with your addresses and qualifications.
Upload your scanned photograph (100kb to 200kb), signature (80kb to 150kb), and thumb impression (50kb to 100kb). Ensure to use live image capture for the photo. After reviewing the declaration, pay the application fee, and submit the form.
Application Fee:
The examination fee for AFCAT is ₹550. However, there is no fee for candidates applying under SSC Special Entry and Metrological Entry. Payment can be made online.
