LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India), a government entity, provides scholarships aimed at assisting students who have completed Class 10 and Class 12. Interested candidates can apply for the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2026 by visiting the official website or using the direct link available on this page. Eligibility Criteria

General Scholarship (Post Class 12/Diploma): Applicants must have completed Class 12, a diploma, or an equivalent examination with at least 60% marks. They should also have secured admission for the 2026-27 academic year in medical programs (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS), engineering programs (BE, B.Tech, B.Arch), or any graduation, diploma, or integrated degree course in any field.


Special Scholarship (Post Class 10): Candidates must have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 60% marks and should be enrolled in the first year of Intermediate (Class 11), a vocational course, ITI, or an equivalent program under the 10+2 system.


The family's annual income should not exceed ₹4,50,000.

Scholarship Amount

Students who have completed Class 12 and are enrolled in medical programs will receive an annual scholarship of ₹50,000. Those in engineering programs will get ₹40,000 annually, while students pursuing graduation courses will receive ₹20,000. Additionally, students who have passed Class 10 will be awarded ₹15,000 per year. The scholarship will be distributed in two installments: half in the first installment and the remaining half in the second.
