NEET UG 2025 Round-2 Counseling Schedule
A significant update has emerged for NEET exam qualifiers. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has unveiled the updated timeline for the NEET UG 2025 Round-2 counseling. Candidates aspiring for admission into medical and dental institutions can register online from September 4 to September 9. The registration and fee payment will be conducted through the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in.
According to the revised timeline, all participating institutes will verify the seat matrix on September 3. Subsequently, from September 5 to September 9, candidates will have the opportunity to select their preferred college and course. This phase, known as choice filling and locking, requires every candidate to finalize their choices by September 9.

Students who did not receive a seat in the first round are eligible to participate in this round. Additionally, candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round but wish to explore better options can also take part. Thus, Round-2 provides a fresh opportunity for students to secure admission in their desired college or course.
Result Announcement
When Will Results Be Announced?
The MCC has confirmed that the processing for Round-2 seat allotment will occur on September 10 and 11. The results for Round-2 will be announced on September 12. Students who receive seat allotments must report to their designated institutes between September 13 and 19 to complete document verification and admission procedures.

The MCC has also disclosed the schedule for state quota counseling, which will take place from September 10 to September 19, 2025. During this period, students will have the opportunity to secure medical seats at the state level.

Upcoming Counseling Rounds
The MCC has not only announced the Round-2 dates but also provided information about subsequent rounds. Registration for Round-3 will occur from September 24 to September 29, with results expected on October 3. Following this, a stray vacancy round will commence on October 14, and its results will be declared on October 18.
