Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2025: The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the recruitment of 455 Security Assistant Motor Transport positions. Detailed notifications regarding these vacancies have been released. Interested applicants can submit their applications on the official website mha.gov.in starting from September 6.


This recruitment drive will fill a total of 455 positions, which includes 219 for General category, 90 for OBC NCL, 51 for SC, 49 for ST, and 46 for EWS.


Eligibility Criteria:


Candidates must possess a 10th-grade certificate and hold a valid LMV driving license. Additionally, a minimum of one year of driving experience is required.


The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 27 years, with the age calculated as of September 28, 2025. SC/ST candidates will receive a 5-year age relaxation, while OBC candidates will have a 3-year relaxation.


Exam Pattern:


The Tier-1 examination will consist of 100 marks, with a duration of 1 hour. The question paper will be divided into five sections, each containing 20 questions covering General Awareness, Basic Transport Driving Rules, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Analytical Logical Ability, and English Language. A penalty of 1/4 marks will be imposed for incorrect answers.


The Tier-2 examination will be worth 50 marks, focusing on Motor Mechanism and Driving-related questions.


Final selection will be based on the cumulative performance in Tier-I and Tier-II. Following this, candidates will undergo character and background verification along with health assessments. Initially, appointments will be temporary, transitioning to permanent status based on government regulations and individual performance.


Application Fee:


The application fee is set at Rs 650 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, Women, and Ex-Serviceman candidates will pay Rs 550.


Salary Details:


The monthly salary for these positions will range from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100, along with additional allowances.
