IBPS RRB PO Final Result Released
IBPS RRB PO Result: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially announced the final results for the RRB PO 2026. This announcement pertains to the Officer Scale-1 (Probationary Officer), Officer Scale-2, and Officer Scale-3 positions. Candidates who attended the interview following the main examination can now verify their final results.
The interviews for the RRB PO recruitment took place earlier this month. The final results are determined by the scores achieved in both the main examination and the interview. Candidates can check their results by logging in with their registration number or roll number, date of birth, or password. The results will indicate whether the candidate has been selected and the specific bank to which they have been provisionally assigned.
Vacancies Available:
A total of 3,928 positions are being filled through this recruitment initiative. Specifically, there are 1,184 vacancies for Officer Scale II and 202 for Officer Scale III. This recruitment is a significant move towards enhancing the rural banking framework.
Selection Process Overview:
The recruitment for RRB PO (Officer Scale-I, II, III) by IBPS is conducted in three phases. The first phase is the Preliminary Examination (Prelims), which is qualifying in nature, meaning its scores do not contribute to the final merit list. This phase tests candidates on reasoning and quantitative aptitude, with successful candidates advancing to the Main Examination.
The second phase, the Main Examination (Mains), is crucial as it includes questions on reasoning, mathematics, general/banking awareness, computer knowledge, and language proficiency in Hindi/English. Scores from this examination are included in the merit list.
The final phase consists of the interview, which is worth approximately 100 marks. This stage evaluates a candidate's banking knowledge, personality traits, communication skills, and suitability for rural work. The final selection is based on a merit list created from the scores of the main exam and the interview.
