DRDO DEAL Apprentice Recruitment: The Defence Electronics Applications Laboratory (DEAL) under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has issued a notification for the recruitment of apprentices for the 2026-27 academic year.
This recruitment initiative aims to provide one year of apprenticeship training to candidates with Graduate, Diploma, and ITI qualifications. Applications are being accepted for various disciplines, including Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Library Science, and several ITI trades.
Required Educational Qualifications:
Category | Qualification
Graduate Apprentice (G-1 to G-4) | B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree in the relevant engineering field; a minimum of 60% marks is necessary.
Graduate Apprentice (G-5 - Library Science) | B.Sc. (PCM/PCB) and B.Lib./BLISc.; a minimum of 60% marks is required in both.
Diploma Apprentice (D-1 to D-4) | Diploma in the relevant engineering/technology area; a minimum of 60% marks is essential.
ITI Apprentice (I-1 to I-21) | Completion of ITI in the relevant trade is mandatory; possession of an NCVT/SCVT certificate is required.
Selection Process:
The selection process will occur in multiple stages. Initially, candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications, followed by a written test, interview, or a combination of these methods.
The second stage will involve document verification, where candidates must present all original documents along with self-attested photocopies for verification.
The final stage includes the online acceptance of the apprenticeship contract, which must be approved by the competent authority for the selection to be deemed valid. Stipend Information

Once submitted, print a copy for your records.
