This initiative, available until June 1, 2026, includes a 24/7 toll-free IVRS service, tele-counseling with trained professionals, and a wealth of digital resources. Introduction to the Counseling Service


To assist students preparing for the Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2026, the CBSE has introduced a complimentary Psycho-Social Counseling service. This initiative is designed to help students cope with exam-related stress and enhance their confidence as they gear up for their theory exams commencing on 17 February 2026. The service will be available until 1 June 2026.

1. 24×7 Toll-Free IVRS Service

  • Available in Hindi and English
  • Offers guidance on stress-free studying, time management, stress management, FAQs, and essential CBSE contact information.
  • The IVRS service guarantees immediate assistance whenever needed.


2. Tele-Counseling Service

  • Accessible Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • 73 trained professionals are available for consultations, including:
    • Principals
    • School counselors
    • Special educators
    • Qualified psychologists
  • 61 counselors in India and 12 counselors located in Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman, and UAE
  • Provides personalized mental support for both students and parents.


3. Digital Resources
