The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revealed the Class 10 results for the academic session 2025-26 on Wednesday, ahead of the usual schedule by nearly a month. This early announcement allows students additional time to gear up for their future studies. The overall pass rate for the Class 10 exams stands at an impressive 93.70%. Once again, female students have outperformed their male counterparts in these examinations.


Performance Breakdown

The pass percentage for girls reached 94.99%, while boys achieved a pass rate of 92.6%. The Trivandrum region excelled, securing the highest performance. The examinations took place from February 17 to March 10, 2026, and for the first time, a dual-board examination system was introduced. Students can access their mark sheets and certificates through DigiLocker, with schools already receiving the necessary PINs.

Girls' Performance Highlights

In the 2026 results, girls have once again shown remarkable performance, achieving a pass percentage of 94.99%, slightly down from 95.00% in 2025. Boys recorded a pass percentage of 92.69%, which is a minor increase from 92.63% last year. Transgender students had a pass rate of 87.50%, a decrease from 95.00% in 2025. Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) have demonstrated exceptional results.
