The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the results for the Intermediate (Class 12) on March 23. For students who are not satisfied with their scores in one or more subjects, as well as those who did not pass the examination, the Board has made scrutiny and compartment forms available. The last date to submit these forms is April 2, 2026.

Fee Structure for Applications
Payment of Prescribed Fees is Mandatory
When applying for scrutiny, students must pay a fee of ₹120 for each subject. A separate fee is required for the compartment examination, and details regarding these fees can be found in the image below.
Overall Pass Percentage
85.19% of Students Passed the Board Examination
This year, 85.19% of students successfully passed the Bihar Board Class 12 exams. The pass rate for girls was notably higher at 86.23%, compared to 84.09% for boys.
Top Performers in the Examination
In total, 26 students achieved the top ranks in the Bihar Board Intermediate examinations, with 19 being girls. Girls excelled in the Commerce and Arts streams, while a male student topped the Science stream. Aditya Prakash Aman from Samastipur achieved the highest score in the Science stream with 96%. Following him, Sakshi Kumari from Sitamarhi and Sapna Kumari from Nawada secured the second position. In the Commerce stream, Nishu Kumari from Gaya topped with 479 marks (95.8%), while Ritu Kumari led the Arts stream with 489 marks.
