Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced a significant recruitment drive for 513 lecturer roles in polytechnic colleges. Required Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with at least two years of service in the Territorial Army.
Age Criteria:
The age will be calculated as of July 1, 2025. The minimum age is set at 21 years, while the maximum age limit is 40 years. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
Salary and Benefits:
The basic salary will range from ₹56,100 to ₹1,82,400 according to Pay Matrix Level 10. Including allowances such as DA, HRA, medical benefits, and pension, the net salary is expected to exceed ₹1 lakh.
Application Fee:
General, EWS, and OBC candidates are required to pay ₹225. SC/ST candidates will pay ₹105, while disabled candidates will only need to pay ₹25. Ex-servicemen will also be charged ₹105.
Selection Process:
The selection for these positions will occur in three phases: a written examination, an interview, and document verification. The written exam will consist of two papers, each lasting two and a half hours, with a penalty of one-third of a mark for incorrect answers.
Exam Pattern:
Paper 1 will include 25 questions from General Hindi (75 marks) and 100 questions from the chosen subject (300 marks), totaling 125 questions worth 375 marks. Paper 2 will consist of 25 questions from General Studies (75 marks) and 100 questions from the chosen subject (300 marks), also totaling 125 questions worth 375 marks. In total, there will be 250 questions worth 750 marks.
