Uttarakhand PCS 2024 Result: Women Shine with Top Ranks

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has announced the results for the PCS 2024 examination, revealing that women have excelled by securing the top two ranks for Deputy Collector positions. Uttarakhand PCS Result 2024 Announced



The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has officially released the final results for the Uttarakhand Combined State Civil/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination-2024. After much anticipation, this announcement brings forth 9 new Deputy Collectors, with female candidates once again excelling by clinching the top two ranks. Jasmeet Kaur has achieved the first position for the Deputy Collector role, while Varsha Joshi follows closely in second place. The successful candidates and their families are celebrating this achievement.


Out of the 9 Deputy Collector positions, four have been filled by women. Additionally, among the 10 Circle Officers (COs) selected, five are also female.


Final Results Post Interviews and Medical Tests

The UKPSC has confirmed that these results were published after the completion of the selection process, which included revised Main Examination results announced on December 1, 2025. Candidates who passed the Main Examination underwent interviews, physical measurement tests, and medical evaluations from March 27, 2026, to April 21, 2026. The final selection list reflects the candidates' performances across all these stages.


New Deputy Collectors Appointed

Uttarakhand has welcomed 9 new Deputy Collectors, with Jasmeet Kaur leading the list. The selected candidates include Varsha Joshi, Ashutosh Nautiyal, Amit Chandra Dwivedi, Meenakshi Bhatia, Faraz Miyan, Viral Sharma, Ujjwal Dalakoti, and Kajal Saini. These individuals have successfully navigated a demanding selection process to join the state's esteemed administrative service, with four of the nine positions going to women.


Deputy Superintendent of Police Selections

In addition, 10 candidates have been chosen for the role of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) within the Home Department, with five women among them. The successful candidates are Aditi Punetha, Aishwarya Bhatt, Manish Chandra Ramola, Sandeep Kumar Patel, Shatakshi Sharma, Saksham, Govind Pandey, Himanshu Diwakar, Shreya Singh, and Prakriti Negi. They are set to take on officer roles in the Uttarakhand Police Service.
