Participants can download their admit cards by entering their registration information. The examination is scheduled to take place from July 2 to July 4 in 60 districts, with an estimated 20 lakh candidates expected to participate. To maintain the integrity of the examination process, the Commission has introduced several stringent measures. It is crucial for candidates to thoroughly review all guidelines before arriving at the examination venue.
Exam Schedule and Centers
**Exam Dates: July 2 to July 4**
The UPTET will be conducted over three days: July 2, 3, and 4. A total of 955 examination centers have been established across the 60 districts. Approximately 19.94 lakh candidates are set to take the test, which will be divided into two shifts for primary and upper primary level exams on different days.
Essential Guidelines for Candidates
**Rules to Adhere To**
At the examination center, candidates are allowed to bring only black ink ballpoint pens and blank clipboards or hardboards. The following items are strictly forbidden: mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, pen drives, earphones, ATM cards, and any other electronic gadgets.
Additionally, the use of correction fluid, blades, or erasers on the OMR sheet is prohibited. If incorrect information is provided or if the question booklet serial number is not recorded accurately, the answer sheets will not be evaluated. Marking more than one option for a single question will also lead to the answer being marked incorrect.
Security Measures and Exam Format
**Security Protocols and Exam Structure**
Candidates will undergo biometric verification, including iris scans and photographs, at the exam centers. The question papers will be secured with one-time locks and seals, which will be opened 45 minutes prior to the start of the exam. The test will be conducted offline using OMR sheets and will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be completed in 150 minutes. Importantly, there will be no negative marking. The minimum qualifying scores are set at 90 for the general category and 82 for the reserved category. Successful candidates will receive UPTET certificates that are valid for a lifetime.
