• Note: Dependents of Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, Women, and Outstanding Sports Persons will pay processing fees according to their original category. The main exam fee will be charged separately for selected candidates.

Age Limit & Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

• Mandatory Eligibility: Candidates must have a valid scorecard from the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET 2025).


• Age Limits (As of 01/07/2026): Minimum Age is 18 Years and Maximum Age is 40 Years. Age relaxations apply as per rules.

UPSSSC Recruitment Vacancy Details & Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or any equivalent recognized board.


• Preferential Weightage: Minimum 2 years of service in the Territorial Army or holding an NCC 'B' certificate will be given preference in case of tie-breakers.


• Candidates must qualify the mandatory Physical Measurement Standards (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET).

Physical Standards & Efficiency Requirements

• Male Candidates Measurements: Minimum height of 167.6 cm. Chest size must be 80 cm without expansion and 85 cm after expansion (minimum 5 cm expansion required).


• Female Candidates Measurements: Minimum weight of 45 kg. Height for General category must be 152 cm and for SC/ST category must be 147 cm.


• Physical Efficiency Test (PET Race): Men must complete a 4.8 km race within 25 minutes. Women must complete a 2.4 km race within 14 minutes. This test is qualifying in nature.

UPSSSC Written Main Examination Scheme & Pattern

• The written main examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 120 minutes (2 hours). Each question carries 1 mark.


• Negative Marking: 25% (1/4 mark) will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

• Part 2: Computers & IT Knowledge (15 Questions / 15 Marks): Concepts of hardware, software, internet, email tools, cyber security basics, and emerging tech skills (AI, IoT, Big Data).


• Part 3: General Information of Uttar Pradesh State (20 Questions / 20 Marks): Comprehensive evaluation of UP history, language, polity, geography, wildlife, minerals, culture, and achievements.

How To Apply Online for UPSSSC Excise Constable Form

• Visit the official UPSSSC website.


• Log in using your PET 2025 Registration Number and personal details or registered Mobile/Email OTP.


• Verify your PET details, select the Excise Constable post, and enter your educational qualifications (10+2 details).


• Check your uploaded photograph and signature, agree to the terms, and submit the application.


• Pay the processing fee of Rs. 25/- via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. Save the final application printout.
