UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination Schedule



The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has revealed the schedule for the Combined Medical Services (CMS) examination. Candidates who have registered for this exam can expect to participate soon. A total of 1,358 candidates will be selected through this recruitment process.


**Exam Date**


The CMS examination is set to take place on August 2, 2026, at various centers nationwide. The written test will comprise two papers, each worth 250 marks, with a total examination duration of two hours. Those who qualify will then proceed to an interview phase, which carries an additional 100 marks.


**Exam Shifts**


The examination will be conducted in two shifts: the first from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and the second from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.


**Vacancies Available**


This recruitment drive will fill 1,358 positions, including 864 Medical Officer roles, 450 Assistant Divisional Medical Officers, 14 General Duty Medical Officers, and 30 General Duty Medical Officers under the Delhi Municipal Council.


**Preparation Tips**


With only two months left for preparation, candidates should study consistently. It's advisable to solve previous years' question papers and take daily mock tests to familiarize themselves with the exam format.
